I could write a lot of stuff here, but it is quite simple: I was not being able to rest my head on the headrest of my car; it hurted like hell and I simply couldn't do it. After ONE week, the pain went away and I can use the headrest. Get this book, read it, make the exercises every day. You will not regret.

I have used My System for almost seventy years. I follow it now with some modifications, and find it always useful to restore stamina after a pariod of neglect of exercise. The prose and the pictures may look quaint after a century, but some of Moeller's exhortations about physical activity are finally part of our culture. His recommendations about breathing still deserve more attention: namely, the inspiration should be free and unopposed. This is an importannt point in the prevention of emphysema, whose risk increases with age.
